All of our fishing charters include rods, reels, bait, tackle, and gear. Whether you're fishing Torch Lake, Elk Lake, or Grand Traverse Bay, everything is provided so you can focus on enjoying your trip.

We recommend bringing:

• Sunscreen and sunglasses

• Most of our Ice fishing trips are on Lake Charlevoix, Thumb Lake, Bear Lake (Near Kalkaska) and if the weather permits we will offer outings on Torch Lake and Grand Traverse Bay. Your best bet is to let the guides select your location, the fishing will be better and the conditions will be the best.

Depending on the season and location, you may catch king salmon, atlantic salmon, coho salmon, lake trout, brown trout, steelhead, perch, and more. Each fishery—whether it’s Torch Lake, Grand Traverse Bay, or local rivers—offers unique opportunities throughout the year.

Fishing is available year-round in Northern Michigan:

• Spring & Summer: Torch Lake, Elk Lake, and Grand Traverse Bay fishing

• Drummond Island (last two weeks of June)

• Mullett Lake (August)

• Fall: Salmon runs and perch fishing on Torch Lake (October)

• Winter: Ice fishing trips typically from Jan - March 15

Yes. We offer guided river fishing trips on the Upper Manistee River, targeting brown trout primarily by it is not uncommon to catch brook trout rainbow trout, walleye and pike during peak seasons.

We recommend booking your Northern Michigan fishing charter 2–4 weeks in advance, especially during peak summer months and for destination trips.
