Fish With Jim Outfitters offers quality river fishing trips in Northwest Lower Michigan.  We offer trip options from our river boat on the Jordan River, Upper Manistee River and Sturgeon River for Salmon, Steelhead, Brown Trout and Walleye.

 

The highlight of our spring river season is targeting the resident Trophy Brown Trout.  From the Trout Opener (Last Saturday in April) to Late May we offer conventional fishing for Trophy Brown Trout on the Jordan River and the Upper Manistee.  During this same time we fish the Sturgeon River for Steelhead with Center Pin and conventional gear.

 

In September Salmon begin their annual migration up the Jordan River.  We fish the fall salmon run during the month of September with Center Pin and conventional gear.

 

Around mid November, decent numbers of Steelhead enter the Jordan River to feed on the eggs of the spawning salmon.  We fish the fall steelhead run on the Jordan River from November 15 - December 20.  It is common to catch resident trophy brown trout when fishing the Jordan River during the Fall  Steelhead season.
