Come fish the Garden River located in Sault
Ste Marie, Ontario. The Garden River is as close to
fishing in Alaska as you can get without traveling there.
It has been described by many knowledgeable anglers as the
finest salmon fishing in the Great Lakes region. Anglers of
all abilities will enjoy success and challenge while enjoying
a river valley as beautiful as anything else in the United
States. We fish for Kings to 20lbs, Pinks up to 6lbs, and
Pinooks to 18lbs (cross between King and Pink) along with
an occasional steelhead. Anglers are encouraged to practice
catch and release with the King Salmon as they are no good
to eat this time of year. Trips are 8 hours, All Terminal
Tackle and Bait Provided, Fly Rods are available for $10 per
day.
